Villa Sanluca

Built around 1910, the main building was enlarged in the 40’s with an extension to the garden. Originally, the house was build for three families, with one flat on each floor. Later on, the villa had different owners and was partially renovated.

We bought this old mansion in 2004 in order to create a unique Bed and Breakfast in Nyon. During nearly one year, we and many craftsmen were occupied with the complete renovation of the villa. The second floor, where the guest rooms are now located, was re-designed. The former loft was incorporated, amplifying the space and allowing the creation of three B&B guest rooms with en-suite private bathrooms.

Numerous changes were made to the ground and first floors. The kitchen was moved to a different place. However, the original house structure has been preserved along with the original parquet floorings, which have been restored.  Consequently, we decided to keep the entire house non-smoking.
